| The Bank Action Group Why don't you come and introduce yourself in the Welcome section at the top of the forum. Then have a look around the rest of it. Do not post or start claiming until you have read the entire FAQ section and step by step guides and you have a good basic idea of what to do and of the layout of the forum. Good luck claiming your bank charges. |

![]() | Hi eveyone out there I have just finished stage one of the process and have sent out my data protection letter. Anyone know if you can claim compo for having a heart attack I couldnt believe the charges I had got on my account. No wonder I cant stay in the black it is a constant downward spiral. I will keep everyone posted about what happens. But I can say one thing I will fight them all the way to court if I have to. ![]() P.s. A bit of maybe a silly question, as the issue centres around common contract law, can the principles be used across all forms of financial contractual agreements ![]() |

![]() | Ok people here's the form guide. I have requested via the data protection act details of all my bank charges, however I had a phone call from cahoot regarding something entirely different and thought why not ask. I did and have now recieved details of my bank charges totaling £1440 I have therefore started doing the letter (infact all it needs is a stamp) but thought that I might try talking to a manager to see whether or not they would settle without the threat of court action. Especially in light of the number of claims they must have ongoing I will keep you posted on how my little chat goes. |

![]() | I doubt it.. but let us know how it goes... I e-mailed them the prelim and the lBA, with several e-mails inbetween, in response to their fob off e-mails... no joy at all... I suppose though, it does depend on who you deal with - though I am getting the feelinng that banks are using the process till the last minute to see if you will give up.. |
