Use SignGuard Cagger since : Mar 2009 Posts: 1	Anyone having problems getting a job due to credit history I worked for 8 years with a major insurance company, but had to leave due to unworkable shift changes. I am now having major problems getting even an interview due to the (I think unfair) practice of doing a credit check. This practice at the moment seems to be mainly in the financial sector, banks, insurance etc. but seems to be spreading to other employment areas. It seems to me to be the pot calling the kettle black as it is mainly the banking/financial industry that has got people into the financial position they are in. I am not a criminal and have no criminal record yet I am being painted that way. Has anyone else any experience of this practice and does anyone know the legal issues involved?
