The Debt Purchase industry has had a real kick in the pants on the other side of the pond since the securitisation scandals came to light - in fact it is no longer considered legal in some states, and licensing is being phased out.

Some of these purchase companies actually go a long way toward making a bad situation worse - how long before our 'Global Financial Saviour' does something here too???.

I agree with this 100%.

How can a company that writes off a debt against tax and loses nothing, then sell that written off debt to a DCA autolinker.com autolinking image

for a fraction of the value, but then the DCA can legally chase someone for the full amount without ensuring they have the proper paperwork first.

There's something totally dodgy going on her and needs to be stopped. It has to be dodgy dealings, as you find so many DCA's have subsiduary companies and trading names, etc. So it's obvious they're trying to hide something behind all those names.
