Hi there

I have a court date scheduled for 16th Aug...

I called the court today to see if there was any application for a stay on my case. The woman there told me that there had not been an application for a stay as yet... and she also said that the jJudges were not in favour of granting any stays on pending cases.

So I called the banks litiation department and asked them what was happeneing in light of the new OFT proceedings. After a short conversation I got my full charges refunded, plus the 8%, plus court costs...

Some folks have tried to call their banks litigation to see if they can get a settlement and some say that the case is on hold... and some say that they will look into it and call back.

So if you have a court date it might be worth calling the legal representatives of your bank and discussing your claim with them.

Rang Blackpool county courtautolinker.com autolinking image, from what I can gather all cases with hearing dates are proceeding (at least mine is - 31st August) and all others have been sent back to the judge (I think to issue stays?).

The judge may still order a stay at the hearings. Question is, can we object to the stays??
