Default Directions Hearing Mercantile London-21/05/07

Benny VS Lloyds TSB for the amount of £960.

I have recieved a letter saying that I have a directions hearing 21/05/07 at the London Mercantile Court, Strand.
My original case was being dealt with at the Bow county courtautolinker.com autolinking image, for who I Filled out an Allocation Questionaire. The judge at Bow decided to transfer it to the mercantile court and I was told in the letter that this hearing is intended to give direction for my case and several others.
I am unsure of what this means, as I was under the impression that this was the reason I had to fill out the allocation questionaire??
I have no idea what I need to take with me or what is going to happen at this hearing!

It also states on the bottom of the letter that 'although some of these cases have been allocated to the Multi Track, it is the provisional view of the judge that the costs rules for the small claims track should apply to all of them.'

what does this mean and does it affect me?

if anyone can help me I'd reall appreciate it!

thanks.

Benny.

This is very good for your claim, I would expect a settlement soon. I have moved your thread to the Mercantile thread.

Benny,

Take a look at the thread entitled 'Mercantile Court Guide' http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...urt-guide.html at the top of the Mercantile forum and also the numerous other threads in the Mercantile forum dealing with cases that have been transferred to the Mercantile Courts
