Thumbs down Excel Parking Ticket

Hi

16th June i went into the wheatsheaf shopping centre (rochdale) and i didnt put a ticket on as i was in a hurry.

I came back to see i had got a ticket, its unusual because there has never been parking attendants in this car park before... but they obviously have now!

What do i do?

1) should i ignore it or pay it?
2) if i ignore it what is the honest chance of bailffs and etc coming around as the registered keeper is female... and would be extremely scared and I would not want to put her through that.
3) In how many cases does ignoring them completely work?
4) should I send them any kind of letter about the payment request they have made and if they do start with threats at what point should I send them a letter?
5) it's my understanding from what ive read that they cannot prove that I am the driver of the car only the owner is this worth persuing?

Update: i have received two letters from excel telling me i need to pay or the fine will increase, the registered keeper of the vehicle is my older brother, he is biting my head off..... please can someone in easy terms tell me how i can explain to him that this fine is bulls***t,

and whats the best way to get rid of them and to stop them sending letters to my brothers address

Your help would be much appreciated
Thanks

Welcome to CAGautolinker.com autolinking image.

Have a read here, basically the tickets of private parking companies are unenforceable penalties, I would never pay them and now ignore them, have a look here, I must have a 100 now.

dont worry about that, all done

will they send bailiffsautolinker.com autolinking image or debt collectorsautolinker.com autolinking image to the registered keepers house?
Its happened before when a debt collecting agency has forced there way into the house, my sis in law doesnt speak good english and got scared...

Will they send debt collectors? or is it just a "bluff"?

i think you are getting confused between a DCAautolinker.com autolinking image [who have NO LEGAL POWERS to do anything bar send threat-o-grams]
and court bailliffs that do have certain powers but certainly CANNOT force their way into anyones house, urban myth that they rely on!

i really do think think you need to READ what people are saying to you.

it is a SCAM, you did not sign any contract before you parked so their PPC claim is illegal, so thus will any letters from a DCA.

ignore it
it will go away after a few letters containing the words. IF, MAYBE, MIGHT, COULD.
