I sent a letter to
MBNA
trying to claim back my PPI. I applied on line for a Virgin card which is now owned by MBNA In 2006 I received a
phone call
a week after telling me I couldn't have the card unless I had the PPI. I later discover that it didn't cover pre-existing illness I have had two years on the sick not being able to claim and thinking I couldn't cancel this insurance.
I have just received a
phone call
from a Barry who told me that I couldn't claim this back due to the fact that I ticked a box on line saying I wanted insurance. I told him I am very cartful and I wouldn't have done this explained the
phone call
I had he just said they got no record of this only the form that I signed on line I explained that if I acceptedly press this I would have cancelled it when they guy phone me. I told him about my illness saying I couldn't claim a thing and that If I knew I could have cancelled this insurance I would have done so before last year. He offered me £500 has a good will offer I didn't except his offer has I an not in the wrong here I have just phoned the Financial
Ombudsman
service. I am angry Barry wouldn't listen to me I wouldn't have put myself through this Financial differently. What happens know? is the offer of £500 mean they did miss sell me the PPI
MBNA are sending me the forms I so say filled in on line.
I received the forms from MBNA it dose not have my signature
on it just a tick in the box. I sent a letter to the financial oblisman.
Only to get a letter back with all my forms saying that I had to Waite for a final closer letter from MBNA. Begin to feel messed about not sure what to do know. I did write back to MBNA saying that the matter of being missold IPP was not over. Still waiting for there reply
