Default PPI reclaim? And Gap?

3yrs ago my partner took out a bike on finance, weve been ok with this, and recently been talking about settling it if we could afford it. Having just had a flick thru his papers, the settlement guide is ALOT more than we can afford at this time. BUT!

In his agreement it says something along the lines of...

After assessing your position I recommend u take out PPIautolinker.com autolinking image AND GAP.

We knew about the GAP, but didnt know about the PPI, this PPI has totalled £1600+ off the bill, and would make the bike payable to finish if we could reclaim this. I know the GAP isnt reclaimable.

How do I do it, and does this also need to be before April 2007? This was taken out about thr 4th of April so just within the dates Ive seen.
