Got offer from NatWest via FOS**WON**
Natwest have offered £850 through the Financial
Ombudsman Service as I used them to claim back my charges for me. I work out the charges to be £931 plus interest which takes it up to £1286ish.
My question to you guys is do you think this is just the first offer and if I reject it and say I am entitled to the £931 or even the £1286ish with the interest it will create problems with my account andoverdraft etc......

Re: Got offer from Natwest via FOS
If I understand it correctly, we are not properly entitled to the 8%
interest until we file at court... That said, the offer is still short of your £931 claim. It's completely up to you.
As I've been reading around the forum, it is said a lot of the time thatNatwest aren't in the habit of closing account/taking away overdrafts.

Cheers, although there won't be much running to be fair, maybe waiting for the postie would be more productive

CONGRATULATIONS
Natwests line of defence now seems to be to offer a refund minusinterest and court fee, I to took this offer of approx £300 less because i had made a couple of mistakes on my claim.....
If like me, its right for you, for now, then well done, ENJOY....
