I have recently noticed that credit card killer is buying up credit agreements like a debt collection agency. Can anyone confirm how this would effect your credit rating?

What costs are incurred?

Administration and Transfer Fee for all Credit Card Debts (Instant)
Each debt £349 per person
Plus a Debt Transfer Fee

10% of debt amount upfront or
20% of debt amount if more than one payment is made ‘contact us for full details’


so 10% of the debt and £349, why not jst of that to the finance company yourself

I think the benefit here is it's instant and liability transfers to them so you can wash your hands of any debt. Though I wonder how this would effect your credit rating and how the lender would respond to this.

I reported that as well. It is fairly late in the night and the people who moderate the site do do it in their spare time. It is not a paid position.
