Banking: a new way?

I found this article about G20 protests and the comment targetted by the link below is of particular interest. I have seen many calls for a complete reform of the banking system and while a lot of it is a pie in the sky idea, it is still very interesting and something perhaps we could all have a hand in trying to push towards.
