AQ Fee RETURNED
Our case (my OH and I) has been transferred to Leeds Mercantile on 28th June, or so the court office says, We've had nothing official yet.
Today we got a letter from the court office with a cheque for £100. The letter stated that theaq fee was being returned as it does not need to be paid in the case of claims for 'bank charges'.
I rang them to make sure there was no mistake and was told that in Mercantile (Chancery Division) she called it, then specified that in 'High Court' (her words) in bank charge reclaim cases noaq fee was payable.
Not sure what to make of this, so if anyone else has had the same expereince I'd be very interested to know what your court said aboutaq fee being refunded.

Re: AQ Fee RETURNED
I went to my
county court to pay the fee and they said that the fee has been dispensed with as no
allocation questionnaire is required anymore for bank charge claims.
I was a bit shocked by this and thought they must have made a mistake so I wrote and had the same answer back.
So it's good news, especially for multiple claims.
