![]() | Looking on some advice on how to deal with this problem.... I bought a Peugeot 206 CC on 18/02/09 and took and the NAC extended warranty, i've had a couple of problems with the car which in all fairness have been fixed by the "showroom warranty" which lasted for the first 3 months after purchasing the car. The front part of my exhaust fell off this morning which as i was aware was not covered under the NAC warranty. I've been told in so many words by carcraft that it's tough luck as it's now over my 3 month "showroom warranty" I called kwik fit and was quoted £322.98 luckily through and friend of a friend etc i've managed to get the very resonible price of £200 for whole new exhaust, his was shocked at the condition of the exhaust and said the whole thing was rusted and clips corroaded, and also has a small hole in the back box, surely this hasn't happened overnight???The car was also serviced late april by carcraft (in order to keep in line with small print, first service in 6 months etc etc), should they not have picked this up?? So my question is, is it tough luck or would you kick up a stink!?! |
